The address of the caravan is 22 Wheatfields, and the views from both the front and the rear are...well, you'll just have to come and see for yourselves ;-).

We are a friendly family based in Milton Keynes in the Midlands, and this is our first owned caravan.

We host the caravan through Airbnb, the global letting website, as they offer complete booking security and a great customer experience. You will be able to book your holiday using the "Book now" buttons on this website.

We hope to make your holiday experience the best it can possibly be, so please don't hesitate to ask us anything and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

The static caravan is a 2014 Swift Soleil and the dimensions are 35 feet long x 12 feet wide. This is equivalent to a Haven silver-grade caravan. (The grade relates to the interior dimensions of the caravan and the quality of the fixtures and fittings). 

We have children who have been diagnosed on the Autism scale, and we have had difficult holidays in the past where we struggled to regulate the level of stimulation children typically experience in a busy holiday environment. This often led to emotional outbursts as our children found it difficult to regulate their excitement levels.

We therefore deliberately chose to site our caravan in a quiet space at the back of the park, where your family can feel at ease and relaxed, with enough activities inside to keep brilliant minds busy while you are equally trying to enjoy your well-earned rest.

We have provided toys, games and lighting that will keep your young ones occupied BUT, as your enjoyment is just as important, these items can be packed away into a box each evening so you can get your space back and enjoy your grown-up time...and possibly even a glass of wine.

For our guests who do not have children with special needs or learning difficulties, these features can remain packed away neatly for the entirety of your stay.

Haven Doniford Bay opens to the public from the second week in March until the last week of October each year.

Guests can book the caravan for either 3-day weekend blocks, from Friday to Sunday (3 nights, checking out 10am on Monday) or 4-day weekday blocks from Monday to Thursday (4 nights, checking out 10am on Friday). 3 and 4 day blocks can also be booked together, based on availability when booking through Airbnb. For example, 7 days, 10 days, 14 days, and so on.

Haven Play Passes enable you and your family to access all of the onsite facilities at Doniford Bay. These are not included in the cost of your caravan rental from us, however these are available to purchase either in advance via Haven's website or upon arrival from Haven's reception building right next to the main car park.

If you intend to use the park's features, we would encourage you to obtain your Park Passes in advance, as this enables you to book and arrange activities in time for your arrival onsite.

The cost of the Play Pass varies depending on whether for an Adult or a Child, what time of year you are visiting and whether you are buying for a group or for an individual.

As private rental guests you may choose not to purchase Play Passes when staying at Doniford Bay, instead using the location as a base whilst exploring and enjoying the wider area. This is something many guests choose to do, and is entirely up to you.

If you do choose to purchase Haven Play Passes in advance of your holiday, you can book and reserve many activities up to 12 weeks ahead of travelling.

We have kitted the caravan out with many items to make your holiday experience easy and stress-free, however as with any caravan stay there are a number of items you may wish to bring with you, as they are not provided by us for family hygiene and cleanliness reasons:

Bedroom items to bring:

• Bottom sheets, duvet covers (or top sheets) and pillow cases for 1 x double bed and up to 4 x single beds
• (All-seasons duvets and pillows are provided for all beds)

Kitchen items to bring:

• Tea towels and dishcloths
• Sponge or cleaning brush
• Washing Up Liquid
• Paper kitchen towels
• Kitchen cleaning spray
• Bin bags for the kitchen bin

Bathroom & toilet items to bring:

• Bath towels for the shower
• Hand towels for the toilets
• Handwash or soap
• Toilet rolls

...and, of course, all the food, snacks and drink items that you will want to cook and prepare whilst you stay. 

The caravan is equipped with a 40" UHD TV with Freeview, Netflix, Prime TV, Disney+ and many more apps. There is also an upright Fridge/Freezer, 4 x flame gas hob, Microwave Oven, 4-slice toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, iron, full size ironing board and a hairdryer.

Don't worry! There is a good-sized, fully stocked mini-market on site, providing plenty of daily items in case you've left something important at home. Also within a short driving distance of the park are local convenience stores and garages.

Arrival and check-in time is any time after 2pm on the same day as your first night. This is to allow enough time for the caravan to be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival.

Checkout is 10am on the morning after your final night.

We provide a secure key safe box just outside the caravan, which can be accessed upon arrival using a special code number we will send ahead of your journey. You will keep the keys with you until you check out, and then simply pop them back into the key box as you leave and ensure it is shut tight, ready for the next guests to collect.

You can park vehicles either on the tarmac road at the front of the caravan or in a parking bay a few pitches along where there is space for more vehicles.

We employ a local family-owned cleaning company who carry out a full caravan clean after every guest check-out, so you can be assured everything will be spotlessly clean and tidy, ready for your arrival.

We would appreciate it if you would tidy up around the caravan, and put away and wash up the crockery and kitchenware you have used during your stay. The cleaning company will fully clean and tidy the caravan ready for the next guests, right after you have checked out.

We have added full wraparound decking to the caravan in April 2024, with stairs, lockable gate, outdoor furniture and decorative fixtures.

There is a fully paved area right outside the caravan door where we have provided all-weather garden furniture and seating for your family and guests to enjoy.

The caravan has 3 steps with a handrail up to the front door, but does not have an accessibility ramp for wheelchair access.

Across the park, there are wheelchair-friendly ramps and accessibility to all the main areas and buildings.

The caravan is fully equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi , and Haven has its own Wi-Fi available within the park buildings. The Doniford Bay area also receives a good 4G mobile data signal.

Whilst we appreciate many of our guests may have four-legged friends, we don't permit any pets of any description in the caravan.

To keep the caravan smelling clean and fresh for future guests, and to avoid damage from cigarette burns, we don't permit any kind of smoking in the caravan, including vaping.

If for any reason you encounter an emergency with any of the services or connections to the caravan, such as gas, electricity, water or any of the fixtures or fittings, you can contact the Haven team at the main reception desk. They will help you with any immediate issues, and they will in turn contact us if necessary.
